Glass Wall Suite is a 25 minute work written in the spring of 2000. The piece was written for amplified chamber ensemble with electronics: alto saxophone, mandolin, 2 guitars, piano, 2 electronic keyboards, 3 percussion, and electronics. The piece was composed specifically for a dance piece celebrating the opening of Lerner Hall, a new student center at Columbia University, New York City. In performance, twenty-five dancers traversed ramps behind the all-glass wall of the building the faces the campus green. Choreographed by Julie Grinfeld.
